2010 Dog of the Year
Every year, the GSPC of Idaho awards one German Shorthaired
Pointer the dog of the year. This is a very prestigious award
to our club and has been awarded to some incredible dogs over the
past 50 years.

FC/AFC Lonewolf's Huachuca Jake
Jake is owned and handled by Dean Crabbs.
This four-year-old earned his AKC Field Championship and Amateur
Field Championship in 2009. In 2010, he competed in Open
Limited Gun Dog stakes, placing in 4 out of 5 he entered, in
southern Arizona, Oregon, Utah, and Wyoming.
Jake received qualifying scores in two AKC Master
Hunt Tests. In addition, Jake was the runner-up Champion in
the NGSPA Region 8 Open Shooting Dog Championship, in Cheyenne, WY.
Jake qualified with a water retrieve at the 2010 club event in Vale,
OR.
